Diane Akemi Bernardino, 38, born December 18, 1977 in Los Angeles, CA. She achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Diane helped her community through her work as Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and as Executive Assistant to the City Manager of Temple City. She was an amazing Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin and Friend. Diane passed peacefully on September 12, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her sons Jacob (14) and Jonathan (12), Mother Lenise, Father James, Siblings Derek and Denise, Dog Emma, and many beloved Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Viewing will be held on September 30, 2016, 5:00 PM â€“ 9:00 PM in the Main Building at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. Funeral Service will be held on October 1, 2016, 2:00 PM at The Church of the Recessional at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA.
