Dennis Lee Rager passed away on November 8, 2023. He was born on March 31, 1951 in Greensburg Pennsylvania, to Charles Ervin and Beatrice Mae Rager. Dennis moved to California with his mother and brother in his early teens to live with his uncle after his father passed away. After graduating high school, Dennis became an electrician and served in the Air Force for six years. Following his time in the Air Force, Dennis continued his work as an electrician for many years at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard.
When he wasn't working, Dennis loved spending time with his son Andrew, and is remembered for taking Andrew on family camping trips, to amusement parks, and Dodger games as a child as well as bowling, and playing miniature golf and basketball. Dennis shared his love of sports and movies with his son and always enjoyed watching both as they joked around with each other. He was a quiet man, but he had plenty to say when he wanted to. He could make anyone laugh with his quirky, often dry, humor and his storytelling. Dennis will always be remembered for his love of his son, the Dodgers, the Lakers, and the Raiders. He will be dearly missed.
Dennis is survived by his wife Kwang Rae Rager of Chino, CA and his son, Andrew Rager (daughter-in-law Kathryn Rager) of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Rager of Moorpark, CA.
