Delia Anne Ulloa, 64, born on November 29, 1956, in Pasadena, CA, United States, passed away April 8, 2021 at 10am. She attended grammar school at St Andrews Parish Pasadena. She Graduated from Bishop AMat High School class of 1974. She attended Citrus College where she received her Associates Degree in Fashion& Design. She worked briefly as a Credit Approval Counselor for Sears before starting her Fashion Design Career at the Broadway Puente Hills mall.
Dee was a natural when it came to Fashion. She had a love for Sewing an creating designing projects helping many of her friends along the way. Although she started out just dressing Mannequins accessorrising Managers plus her coworkers saw her talent for creativity. Her Passion was staging and building trendy Store Window Treatments for Consumers to get excited about shopping in the Store. From Simple Visual Assistant she was promoted to the top tier as manager for the Broadway South Coast now Macys. Her Fashionista talent took to other name brand stores including Wards an HomeGoods.
She met her Husband late one night coming home from a nightclub catching a 2am breakfast at Denny's Montebello. Tired after along night of dancing husband claims love at first... Im going to marry that girl from just a Hello. Having a boyfriend at the time she didnt give him the time of day. The rest makes for a great love story.
She lived in Long Beach after 5yrs of dating with her Husband. August 1 1987 she got married at St Andrews church like she dreamed as a little girl her grammar school Parish in Pasadena. For 35 years she lived a life of adventure while rearing a Family. Anjelica was born March 25 1993 healthy with no signs of Sickness.
To my surprise 5yrs ago She fainted while on the Job Visual Merchandising at HomeGoods which soon became a rollercoaster of doctors medicines 911 calls hospital stays.
On Nov 29 2020 her birthday she went code blue at 3am for 8 minutes an was revived on life support. She saw the light an ask God to give her another chance to come back and God granted her that wish. She spent the last 5 months in Zoom Isolation with no one by her side. Suddenly things began to look stable the last 2 weeks she finally to touch an be with family. She was give a release date which really boosted her spirits
April 7 she was suppose to take her last dialysis at the hospital to come home finally to rest at home. Her heart gave out during the Dialysis which I was next to her. confused as to what was happening. It was a rough 24 hrs which On April 8 at 10 am she died peacefully holding my hands with my daughter close by. She is no longer in gut wrenching pain from all her procedures fought thru. I know that we will see her again in Heaven in a Pain free body just as beautiful as the 1st day i saw her at 2am 40 yrs ago. We thank all of you for reaching out to our Family during this heart breaking process.
