Debra Zomalt, 73, was born on June 1, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, to Edward James Zomalt and Pauline Russell Zomalt. She was called home on October 25, 2026.
Debra received her formal education at Tibbey Elementary School, Vanguard Middle School, and Compton High School.
Debra was a much-loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She spent more than 30 years serving the United States Postal Service before retiring, a testament to her years of dedication and commitment.
One of the qualities that made Debra special was the way she poured into others. She always made time for the people in her life, offering her presence, care, encouragement, and love. She had a way of making others feel valued, and the kindness and generosity she shared will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Outside of work and family, Debra found joy in the things she loved. She was an avid swimmer, enjoyed sewing, and had a love for music. These interests, along with the everyday moments she shared with loved ones, helped create memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Though her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of her family and friends, the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will live on. She will be missed more than words can express and remembered with love always.
