It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Werner, age 70, on November 14, 2025, at home with family. Born on June 5, 1955, in Lodi, California, Debbie lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Debbie was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. As a young single mother, her love for learning and dedication to family led her to pursue an associate's degree in computer science from Mt. Sac. Her devotion to fairness landed her in a lifelong career in the male dominated auto and truck parts industry, where she was respected for her knowledge and service by all who had the pleasure of working with her. Debbie loved her yard, where she spent many hours each day gardening or enjoying the outdoor views from her patio listening to talk radio, reading the paper and doing her sudoku. Cooking for her family was one of her many pleasures and she was always down for a game of rummy, poker, uno or nertz - winning often. Debbie was quietly fierce and known for her keen observations, steady wisdom and generous heart. Traveling was a passion, especially going to new locations, but she often returned to her favorite places, like Hawaii or Oceanside. On trips with family she was always open to trying new things, including ziplining, kayaking or an occasional escape room. Above all, Debbie took immense pride in her family, always offering support, encouragement, and unconditional love. Debbie will be remembered for her quiet strength, warm smile, quick wit, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Debbie is survived by her husband John, daughter Kristie, grandsons Joseph and Deshawn, great-granddaughter Alice, and brothers John, Joseph and James, as well as cherished extended family, who will forever hold Debbie's memory close.
