Debora Andersen, affectionately known as Debbie, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Covina, California. Born Debora Watts on November 9, 1950, in Altadena, California, she lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family and community.

Debbie’s professional journey was defined by her role as a Property Manager at Mark Andersen & Associates, where she worked alongside her husband, Mark Andersen, for an impressive 30 years. During this time, she transformed the management division of their business from a modest portfolio of five units to a flourishing enterprise overseeing 750 units before her well-earned retirement. Her vision and diligence established a solid foundation for the company’s enduring success.

Beyond her career accomplishments, Debbie was deeply cherished for her generous spirit and warm heart. Known for always opening her home and heart to others, she welcomed friends and family with a great smile and unparalleled kindness. Her love for her family was profound, and she held a deep appreciation for the importance of maintaining eternal connections across generations—a value she both embraced and instilled.

Among her proudest achievements was leading a quilting group that produced several hundred quilts for the Oncology department at Children’s Hospital, a testament to her compassion and selflessness. Additionally, Debbie devoted over two decades to exploring family history. She worked tirelessly at the family history center, offering assistance to those seeking to connect with their ancestors, enriching the lives of many through her dedication.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Andersen; her daughter, Lauren Davis; sons-in-law, Shane Davis and Alfred Navarro; her dear brother, Denis Watts; and her grandchildren Jocelyn, Annalise, Juliet, Avery, and Leah. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Watts and Ruby Mayfield Watts, and her daughter Erica Andersen Navarro.

Debora Andersen’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering commitment to family and community. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, reminding us all of the enduring power of kindness and connection.
