David Franklin Uttz Jr.

David Franklin Uttz Jr., age 82 of Upland passed away on July 20, 2020. David was born in Fort Worth Texas. His aviation career spanned 40 years spending the bulk of it flying commercially for Golden West Airlines and corporately for Lockheed Martin. In the early 1960's he moved to California where he raised his family. He loved the Lord, flying, his country, going to church, and spending time with family and friends. David is survived by his son Jeff (Lisa) Uttz, daughters Jenny Uttz, Katie (Jarrell) Botello, granddaughter Gabby Uttz, brother Philip (Pam) Uttz, sister Debbie (Tom) Uphold and three nephews. He is proceeded in death by his brother Paul Uttz, his Mother Angeline Lenore (Walker) Uttz, his father David Franklin Uttz Sr. and grandson Noah Jordan Uttz. Service and Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on August 6, 2020 at 9:00 am in the Meditation Garden immediately followed by the graveside side service in the Honor Section.
