David Harrison Talbert, July 14, 1951-March 2, 2021

David had life long health problems beginning at age 8 years with a malignant brain tumor and was not expected to survive. Then again in his teens he was near death with kidney failure. He was challenged with health issues the rest of his life, never took for granted his gift of life and took exceptional care of himself. His health had been declining for several months but he loved California and wanted to remain there until his death. David was loved and respected by all who knew him and cherished by his family.

Despite his serious health issues he was able to achieve a Masters Degree in Recreation, immediately accepted a position as a civilian employee of the army and moved to Korea. After several years he married, returned to California and enrolled in Fuller Seminary graduating with a Masters in Theology. David was a long time member of a Presbyterian church in Pasadena, California.

He is survived by his mother: Jean Hall (Ralph, deceased), siblings; Phillip Talbert (Patty); Dr. Melinda Talbert; Noel Talbert Cliett (David); Toni Talbert Joslin (Otto) and Joe Talbert (Darcy). Step siblings: Katy Hall (Peter Garst); Dr. Mark Hall; Marilyn Hall (Christopher Lewis); an uncle, Dr. JB Jones (Joy).
