David Myron Tabashnik

David M. Tabashnik, 83, of Palm Desert, Calif. passed away January 26, 2013 in Palm Desert. He was born March 10, 1929, to Louis and Leah Tabashnik in Detroit, Mich. He married Suzanne Krause on March 29, 1987, in Franklin, Mich. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Political Science. He was a member of the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity. He was the owner of Artistic Furniture Manufacturing Co. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; daughter, Susan Tabashnik of Walled Lake, Mich.; sons, Bruce Tabashnik of Tucson, Ariz. and David B. Tabashnik of Birmingham, Mich.; sister, Nedra Kapetansky of West Bloomfield, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Gabriel, Sheldon and Kailen. He is also lovingly survived by Suzanne's children; daughter, Laura (David) McMillan of Melbourne, Australia and son, Eric (Shawn) Krause of West Bloomfield. A private memorial service will be held.
