David Wei Shiang Huang

David Wei Shiang Huang was born in Taiwan on February 25, 1969. He was the youngest of five children. He left this earthly world to a different galaxy at age 53 on March 22, 2022.

David was a family man, a devoted father, husband, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and loyal friend who had a great sense of humor. He was a man of few words but had the biggest heart. He loved animals and took care of chickens, bunnies, parakeets, and his favorite dog Bo. David also enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching sports, fishing, playing card games, and MyVegas. David was a "Legend" in several Facebook groups, including one he created with several hundreds of members. His passion there captured the hearts of many with his generosity, sharing his time and wealth of knowledge. He was much loved and idolized. His relentless drive was hugely inspirational and his selflessness touched many souls.

David received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California Berkeley and a Masters in Finance from California State University Hayward. He also attended the Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland. He worked as a Senior Investment Fund Accountant for BNY Mellon for sixteen years.

David leaves his family to cherish his memories: his parents, 19-year-old son Michael, 12-year-old daughter Evelyn, wife Rose, siblings Lisa, Patty, Steve, and Lulu, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be dearly missed and forever remain in our hearts.

Memorial Service is being held on April 20, 2022, at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Memory Chapel Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
Memory Chapel doors will be open at 11:00 am for guest entry.
