David Atreyu Oscar Cerda-Chavez

David Atreyu Oscar Cerda-Chavez passed away December 19, 2015 in Palm Springs, Calif. Mother was 38 weeks pregnant and was shot in the stomach, baby died from bullet wound which resulted in still-born. He was born to David E. Chavez and Roxanne M. Cerda in Palm Springs. He is survived by his mother, Roxanne M. Cerda; grandparents, Cynthia D. Cerda, Josefina Delgadillo, and Ricardo Chavez of Mexicali, BC, Mexico; and his aunts and uncles, April and Angel Dueñas, Jessica and Michael Salazar, Sandra Chavez, Luz Varges, Candice Chavez and Ricardo Chavez as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Chavez; grandfather, Oscar Cerda and great-grandmother Eva Andrade. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm January 15, 2016 with a Prayer Service to follow at Forest Lawn Coachella Chapel. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at Coachella Valley Public Cemetery.
