David Alan Bauer

June 16, 1933 — October 6, 2013

David Alan Bauer died on Saturday, October fifth, two thousand thirteen. Always a night owl, he left this earth a few minutes before midnight with his children and grandchildren at his side. David was born and spent his entire life in Long Beach, California; the city he loved and proudly served as a member of the Long Beach Police Department. After nearly forty years of law enforcement, David retired as a sergeant from the police department. He spent the rest of his years enjoying traveling to Mexico, playing with his trains, and making his grandchildren laugh to the point of not being able to breath. He was a hell of a guy and will be missed very much. He is survived by his beloved daughters Cynthia and Cassandra, his son in law Jack, and his grandchildren Sara, Kelsey, Caitlin, Spencer, and Taylor.
