Darlene G. Sheppard

Darlene Gail Sheppard, 77, born on January 26, 1939 in Houston, Texas passed away April 24, 2016. She resided in Shadow Hills, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California. All are welcome. The ceremony will be simple at the graveside, which was her wish.

Mrs. Sheppard worked for many years for charitable fund raising organizations, AID United Givers and United Way. At United Way Los Angeles, she was in charge of purchasing, printing and supply. In 1986 she joined her husband, Joe H. Sheppard, and Son Joseph Sheppard to start Sheppard Decorating Company, a Trade Show and Convention Contractor. In 2009 she went to work at Sunrise Decorating as Office Manager with her Son and Grand Daughter, Erin.

She is survived by her Son, Joseph Sheppard; Grandchildren, Erin, Christian and Casey Sheppard; Brother, Jimmy Bradshaw; and Great Grandchildren, Xander and Zoey Zarate.
