Danny Scott Brown

March 27, 1957 — July 7, 2019

Danny Scott Brown, 62, died July 7, 2019 while on vacation with loved ones in Lake Havasu City, Arizona after complications from surgery following a fall. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 and his funeral service will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA.
Danny was born on March 27, 1957 in Whitehall, Wisconsin to Alden and Sally Brown (née Tuff). He moved with his family to southern California and graduated from Neff High School in La Mirada. Through a mutual friend in Anaheim, he met and married the love of his life, Piper (née Baker). Later, he worked as a painter and then at Northrop Aircraft as a machinist. He spent the last 25 years of his career as a service technician for Pepsi Cola, where he became a dear friend and mentor to many colleagues.
As a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and confidante, he was the life of any party and brought out the brightest spirits in anyone in his presence. With a side-splitting sense of humor unmatched by most, his stories, jokes, impressions, and words of wisdom reflected his love for fun and creativity and the value he placed on assuring everyone else was having just as much fun with life as he was. He lived a rich life, full of adventure while going hiking, fishing, camping, and attending sporting events, and full of deep, meaningful bonds he created with those lucky enough to have known him.
He is survived by his three children, Kyle, Corey, and Sarah; daughter-in-law, Gioia Liang; grandson, Maximus Brown; brother, Larry; sisters, Sherilyn Scott and Lorijon Brown; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Piper; parents Alden and Sally; older brother, Steven; brothers-in-law, Dennis McCroskey and Brent Baker; parents-in-law Stan and Imogene Baker.
