Danita’s life was marked by enduring relationships and cherished connections. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Banner, nephew Brian Fondren, nieces Alexis Fondren, Ketisa Fondren, Angelique Fondren, Rocena Banner, and preceded in death by her brother, Norman Fondren. She leaves behind many friends and colleagues, who mourn the passing of a dear and true friend.

Throughout her life, Danita touched those around her with compassion and quiet resilience. The loss of her gentle presence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

To honor and remember her life, a funeral service will be held on August 26, 2026, at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Memory Chapel, located at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724. The service will begin at 12:30 PM and conclude at 1:30 PM, offering family, friends, and all whose lives she graced the opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
