Danilo Tayong Dionisio

May 20, 1953 — February 27, 2018

Danilo Tayong Dionisio was born May 20, 1953 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Santiago and Rosalinda Dionisio. The eldest of five children, Danny was also the only son. At age 13, the passing of his father was a defining moment, ingraining in him a strong sense of familial responsibility and duty.

A dutiful son, a natural born leader, a protective brother, a devoted husband, a firm but loving father, a beloved grandfather and a loyal friend, Danny epitomized the spirit of giving, of loving, of faith and of inner strength. He valued challenges for it made one a better person and knowledge because it is a product of one's perseverance and can't be taken away. He took pride in his decades long profession as a Certified Public Accountant, with a reputation of being trustworthy, knowledgeable, hardworking and meticulous. He strove to be the best in his field of expertise.

As a man of faith, he placed God at the center of his life through serving as a lay minister, and as an active member of the Couples for Christ in Pasig. He enrolled his three elder daughters at a private Catholic school to instill the same lessons of faith and service to others.

An avid tennis player and fan, he spent his Saturday mornings playing tennis with his friends. He loved being in the company of his family and friends, sharing a meal, and telling stories. He loved to travel and would talk to his sons-in-law, Dennis, Julio, and Brian about getting an RV and driving cross country once he retired from working for the City of LA. Most of all, he loved his family for they were his treasures.

Danny was called back home on February 27, 2018. He passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his college sweetheart and wife, Rosita, and surrounded by his four daughters Danrochelle, Monique, Clarissa, and Theresa. His legacy continues in his grandchildren: Abigail, Phoebe, and Daniel.
