Daniel Kirman, 63, beloved husband and dedicated father, passed away on July 6, 2026 at home in Covina, CA. He is survived by his loving wife, Nina, of 36 years & his only daughter, Annika. He is also survived by his sisters: Lynn (Brian) Moyer, Kathleen (Robert) Elliot & Carol Martin; his nephews: John (Jia) Cameron & Dustin Martin; his nieces: Kristen (Woody) Sorey, Deanne Elliot & Casey (Blake) Hawk; his grandnieces: Vivian Cameron & Hayden Hawk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sally and John Kirman, & his older brother, Paul Kirman. He is also survived by his in-laws: Francis (Esther) Chua, Susana Chua, Elena (Frank) Lam, Tony (Betty) Chua, Lourdes (Don) Chua Thach, Angela (Dan) Deeb, Tina Chua Nunez; his nephews: Justin Lam, Paul (Megan) Deeb, Adrian Thach, Brendt Chua, Nigel Nunez & Sean Nunez; his nieces: Arianna (Galen) Lam Ho, Jacqueline (Stefan) Colvey; his grandnieces: Clare Deeb & Farah Colvey; grandnephews: Carmine Ho, Roy Colvey, James Deeb & John Deeb.

Dan grew up in Pasadena, he went to local schools & graduated John Muir High School where he played center on the football team. After high school, he graduated from PHCC trade school as a journeyman plumber. He joined his father, John G. Kirman, in the family business, Kirman Plumbing Company, which was established by his great grandfather in 1908. Even though he was the son of the owner, he learned the ropes of the business by starting at the very bottom as a helper, getting his hands dirty, even taking graveyard shift jobs when he didn't have to. He had the integrity & pride to do what it takes to achieve his future legacy. It was during this time he met the love of his life, Nina Chua, in 1987 & they were married in July 1990. Enjoying themselves in the meantime, they finally welcomed their precious daughter, Annika, in 1999.

He eventually took over the business when his father retired. He was a respectful, kind & fair employer, always caring & thinking of others. His passions were golf, traveling & being an adventurous foodie. He would play golf whenever the opportunity arose, joining tournaments when he can. And when he couldn't continue to enjoy the physical aspects of golf because of a work accident, he decided to enjoy travel & cruises with his family.

There will be a memorial service at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills Memory Chapel on Aug. 8th, 2026 at 12-1pm.
