He is survived by his wife Sylvia, two sons Dan and Tom, and six grandchildren.
Dan proudly served with L.A.P.D. for 30 years.
The services and reception will be held at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills beginning at 12:00PM on Monday, May 13.
If desired, the family asks that a memorial contribution be made in Dan Jones' name to City of Hope in lieu of flowers.
