A graduate of Columbia University School of Pharmacy, and a pharmacist by trade, Daniel's entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore various avenues in life. Alongside his successful career as a pharmacist and entrepreneur, along with his husband Marcel, he delved into the world of art collecting with great enthusiasm. His keen eye for beauty and detail made him a respected figure in the art community.
Described by many as kind, honorable, loyal, knowledgeable, and insightful, Daniel will always be remembered for his unwavering generosity and dependability. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh that resonated with all who knew him.
In addition to his professional endeavors and interests in art, Daniel found joy in simple pleasures. He found solace in paintings, museums, shows, good food, and classical music. His passion for writing not only reflected his creativity but also allowed him to express his innermost thoughts with eloquence.

Daniel is survived by his loving husband and partner Marcel Hang Vinh for 50 years; his brother Norman Hansman; his sister Francine Yagoda; his nieces Michelle Whiteman and Melissa Yagoda; his nephews Andrew Yagoda and William Yagoda; as well as five great nephews and two great nieces.
