Daniel Balanay Gamiao

It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Balanay Gamiao announces his passing after a brief illness, on January 5, 2013, at the age of 72. Daniel was born on December 31, 1940 in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Phillippines to Patrocinio Tagala Gamiao and Juanita Agacid Balanay.
Daniel grew up in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He graduated from Saint Joseph's High School in Laoag City, Philippines. After high school he attended Divine Word College, formerly Saint William's College in Laoag City, Philippines, where he received his degree in Bachelor Science of Commerce, majoring in Accounting. Daniel also attended graduate school, University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines.
Daniel is survived by his children, Charles C. Gamiao, Dulcelina L. Gamiao, Daniel L. Gamiao III, Donna L. Gamiao, Dominick L. Gamiao of La Verne, California; his sister, Marylou Gamiao Pena; his grandchildren Katrina Gamiao Luangkhot, Priscilla Gamiao De Binion, Viviana Gamiao De Binion; and his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.
