Dale Lee Pawley, a devoted family man, hard worker, and adventurer, passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2024. Dale was born on June 10th, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He entered this world with a spirit of determination and generosity that would define his life.

Dale was one of four brothers, sharing his early years with his siblings Jerry, Royal, and Jerrold. After graduating Lincoln Northeast High School in 1962, he pursued new opportunities in Southern California. His strong work ethic led him to numerous jobs, including construction projects that contributed to iconic landmarks like Magic Mountain and CalArts.

In 1968, Dale answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He served honorably for four years, creating lifelong memories and bonds while visiting places like Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand.

After his military service, Dale turned his focus to family, adopting five children—Dale, Darcy, Deitra, Justin, and Jensen. He built a loving home while working tirelessly as a forklift driver at the Anheuser-Busch brewery, where he dedicated 30 years and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. His commitment allowed him to retire at just 50 years old, a milestone he cherished.

Retirement opened new chapters in Dale’s life, where he prioritized family and adventure. He became a steadfast supporter of his children, attending music performances, scheduling appointments, and accompanying them to auditions. His passion for travel reignited, and he completed a bucket list trip where he returned to the countries he had visited during his naval service, reconnecting with the vibrant cultures and memories of his youth.

In his later years, Dale found profound joy in caring for his youngest daughter, Deitra. His dedication to her well-being was a testament to the unwavering love he had for his children.

Dale’s legacy is one of hard work, resilience, and devotion to family. His adventurous spirit and loving heart touched all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
