Dale Allen Nelson

December 27, 1955 — January 27, 2014

Dale Allen Nelson, 58, born on December 27, 1955, in Torrance, CA, passed away January 27, 2014. Our son, brother and friend resided in Cathedral City, CA at the time of his passing. Dale attended school at Casimir Elementary in Torrance, CA; High School in Reardan, WA and graduated from High School at North High School in Torrance, CA. Dale was a man of many talents from work in the food business, as a handyman to oversight of personal properties in the Palm Springs area.

Prior to moving to the Palm Springs area…Dale spent over a year designing and building his own home in Idaho. He was known for his passion of ocean and lake fishing with a particular desire for bass fishing. Dale always caught a fish…even when other were skunked…Dale caught fish! Most importantly Dale had a smile and personality that lit up a room with his charm, wit and wonderful sense of humor.

Dale leaves his Mom (Loretta Nelson) and his brother (Terry Nelson) with many wonderful memories. In addition, Dale will be missed by many but especially by Brian Ramsey (his childhood friend of nearly 50 years) and other friends (Don Bales, Ray Tarkington) and their wives. Also, Dale had several dogs but his favorite was Brandy.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Dale will be held near the end of March. More information regarding the "exact date and time" can be obtained by contacting his brother, Terry, via email at: ARTandTERRY@gmail.com. We will miss Dale for so many reasons but most of all his love for his Mom, family and friends. We will miss you buddy (Terry)!!

Note: In lieu of flowers…Dale loved animals and would appreciate you considering donations to animal shelters or adopting a pet.
