Dale B. Greene, born July 5, 1938, passed away on September 29, 2026.
He was known as a man of truth, a family man who cared for his loved ones in every way he knew how.
Dale came from Iowa and was shaped by a small-town farming background. He often spoke about his past on the farm, memories that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He grew up with his 4 brothers and 1 sister, and the values of faith, hard work, truth, and family stayed with him over the years. In 1967, Dale, with his wife Betty, came to California in search of better opportunities. He went on to work on the Long Beach Docks for more than 20 years, building a life through dedication and steady effort. He was known as a man of truth, a family man who cared for his loved ones in every way he knew how. He loved God and went to church, and his faith was an important, if not the most important, part of his life.Dale found joy in many things. He loved flying his personal aircraft, enjoyed Bible studies and square dancing, and was always happy to settle in with a western movie or television show. Above all, he loved being a grandfather and cherished his grandchildren deeply.
His family was at the center of his life, and he took great pride in them. Most of all, Dale loved his wife, Betty Greene.
He is survived by Betty; by his daughters, Connie Macias and Kathy Greene; and by his grandchildren, Kristina Macias, Justin Macias, Bryan Macias, Kyle Jackson, and Cole Jackson. He will be remembered with love for his devotion to his family, his deep faith, and the steady, caring way he lived his life.
