Dakota Wesley Moore

Dakota Wesley Moore was born in Santa Monica, CA on July 20, 1997. He passed on March 6, 2020 at the early age of 22. He is survived by his parents, Steven & Lin Moore, of Studio City, CA, as well as his siblings, Michael, Allen, Tiffany, and Hailey. Dakota was a loved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His family and friends are devastated by losing Dakota at such an early age. He will always be loved and remembered for his kindness, generosity, love of family and friends, his hard work, loyalty, sense of humor, and his desire to fit in. Dakota attended St. Genevieve High School where he excelled in scholastics and played on the football team. Dakota went on to attend and graduate from The Los Angeles Film School, where he obtained a degree in Film Production. Dakota later became a Property Master as a member of the Local 44 Union. Dakota grew up helping with his family's business in the entertainment industry. During his short life, Dakota had many wonderful experiences. He went to Hawaii to celebrate his 10th birthday. He traveled to Italy, Monaco, and Nice, France, with his parents and friends. He visited the Florida Keys, then took a cruise to the Bahamas and Cuba with family and friends. He traveled with his family in their Airstream trailer to New Orleans and to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Dakota loved football, videogames, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed but never forgotten. He will live on forever in our hearts.
