Born on April 2, 1984, in Huanusco Zac., Mexico, Dr. Medina embodied a life dedicated to education, professional excellence, and compassionate service to others.

Dr. Medina earned her Masters and her PhD from the University of Oregon, a significant milestone and one of her greatest accomplishments. Her academic journey and passion for the field culminated in her impactful career at Berkeley University, where she served as a psychologist for several years. Known for consistently going above and beyond, Dr. Medina’s professional life was marked by a steadfast commitment to supporting those in need, reflecting both her expertise and her generous spirit.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Medina was a person of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was a loving and caring individual who found joy in spending quality time with family, especially during the holidays, always ensuring that everyone was in good spirits. Services to honor Dr. Cynthia Medina’s life and contributions will be held as follows: a Visitation on April 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Church of Our Fathers, located at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630; a Funeral Service on April 21, 2026, beginning at 11:30 AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 5500 East Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90808.
