Cynthia B Kim

Cynthia B. Kim was born on April 1, 1949, in Kawit, Philippines to Eduardo and Ceferina Buhay. She grew up in the Philippines and attended Santa Isabel College in Manila, where she received her bachelor's degree.

She later moved to San Francisco, California, where she met and married John Kim, Jr. To this union, God blessed them with a daughter, Katherine. After some time in the Bay Area, they decided to move to Southern California.

She resided in Indio, CA at the time of her passing. Although she had a few aliases (Cindy, Cyn, and Mama), one thing is certain: no words can truly describe the impact she had in so many people's lives. Her ability to be genuine at all times and her amazing strength and courage will forever be felt.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eduardo and Ceferina Buhay. She is survived by her husband of 48 years John T.L. Kim, daughter Katherine Williams (Byron), brothers Eddie Buhay, Marcial Buhay (Norlinda), Bayani Buhay (Tessie), Bart Buhay (Jona), sister Evelyn Buhay, grandchildren Kylie, Jaylon, Uriyah and Bria, and many other relatives and friends. Cynthia has truly been God-sent to many people and her presence will be missed immensely.
