Cynthia Acosta Dizon

Cynthia Acosta Dizon, 70, born on January 31, 1949, in Manila, Philippines, passed away May 13, 2019. She resided in Monrovia, California at the time of her passing. She is the fourth child among the six children of Blas and Isabel Dizon. Cynthia is survived by her four sisters: Gloria, Bella, Nina and Alma. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.

Cynthia attended Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines where she studied BSE major in Home Economics. After her studies she pursued her interest in Christian Education at Bethel Bible College .

In 1980, Cynthia immigrated to the United States and worked for the California State government for 30 years. During her years of employment, Cynthia also traveled the world. She has been to Egypt, Russia, Israel , Europe and has explored the different states in the U.S. After she retired from work, Cynthia spent most of her time actively going on tours with her peers.

Cynthia was well loved by her family and friends. She was well known for her humor and contagious laugh and how there was never a dull moment around her. Her strongest character trait is her generosity and her love to give to others. She had a soft heart for those in need and are hurting. Her selflessness has earned her a special place in all hearts that she has come across with.

Now that Cynthia is with our Heavenly Father, she will forever be loved and will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on in everyone's hearts.
