Cruz Cadena, 100, of Hacienda Heights, California, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. Born on November 28, 1924, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Cruz lived a life full of love, laughter, and family.
She was the beloved wife of Miguel Cadena for 70 wonderful years. Together, they raised six children — Blanche, Marie, Josie, Mike, Gloria, and Albert — and built a family rooted in unconditional love.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Cruz had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her home was always filled with the aromas of her delicious cooking, music, the sound of joyful conversation, and the warmth of her kind spirit. She loved to dance and bring people together. Food was her love language. When you visited Cruz, you knew that you would never leave hungry.
Cruz’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.
