Cristina Ruiz Loredo

Cristina Ruiz Loredo, 81, of Coachella, CA passed away on May 13, 2012 in Indio, CA. She was born July 24, 1930 to Thomas Ruiz and Epitacia Guerrero in Austin, TX. She married Rafael Delgado Loredo in January of 1947 in Donna, TX. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son Rafael Loredo, Jr. of Texas, her daughters, Criselda Rios of Indio and Hortencia L. Flores of Texas; sons, Roy Loredo of Coachella and Javier Loredo of La Quinta, CA; daughters Diana L. Ojeda, Cecilia L. Salomon and Maria C. Loredo all of Indio; and son, Thomas Rocky Loredo of Indio; sister, Mercedes Gamez of Monterrey, Mexico; brother, Luis Ruiz of Mecca, CA; sister-in-law, Ramona Hernandez of Coachella. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Delgado Loredo; son, Mike Loredo; and grandson, Richard R. Loredo. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30pm in the Coachella Chapel at, Forest Lawn, Coachella, CA. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Indio, CA, followed by interment at Coachella Valley Cemetery, Coachella, CA. Forest Lawn Indio is in charge of arrangements.
