Crispin Uribe

November 19, 1952 — January 7, 2021

Crispin passed away from COVID-related complications on January 7, 2021 and Lupita passed away 11 days later on January 18, 2021. They are survived by their son Ramon, and his wife Jenniffer, their Son Adrian and his wife Yesenia, and four grandchildren: Ramon, Ashley, Justin, and Gael Alexander.

Crispin was born and raised in San Juan de Abajo, Nayarit, Mexico with his mother Dominga and father Ramon Uribe, as well as with his six siblings: Antonio, Gregorio, Iysidro, Maria, Miguel, and Rosa.

Lupita was born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico with her parents Maria and Amado Lugo as well as with her two younger sisters: Conchita and Dorita. It was in Hermosillo where Lupita gained a love for swimming and dancing.

Fate brought both Crispin and Lupita to move to Los Angeles in the 1960's and eventually to work together at Bakery Gonzalez where their love story began. Somehow Crispin overcame his timidness to approach and ask Lupita to go on a date. They got married in 1977 and the rest is history!

Lupita loved to cook and Crispin loved the Dodgers. Together they spent time raising their two sons, dancing in the kitchen, and spending as much time as they could together. Lupita was very well-loved in her neighborhood, with a constant stream of visitors always stopping by to visit.

Crispin and Lupita were exemplary parents, and led their children by example with honesty, a strong work ethic, confidence, generosity, and their love for family and friends. They were beloved by many and leave a legacy behind for their children and grandchildren to continue.

The funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Covina Hills Memorial Park at 21300 Via Verde St, Covina, CA 91724 on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 9:00 am. The family invites and welcomes all to celebrate Crispin and Lupita's lives at their funeral.
