CRISOSTOMO R. ARMADA, MD – 87
Crisostomo R. Armada, MD, age 87, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, died Wednesday night, January, 2, 2013 at San Antonio Community Hospital surrounded by his family. Born February 16, 1925, in Pasay City, Philippines, he joins his wife, Cresenciana A. Armada, in eternal peace.
"Ising", as close friends would call him, was a retired physician (psychiatry and family practice) for over 40 years. He was a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Medical School, Manila, Philippines in 1950. He enjoyed family trips, friend gatherings, and being surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his brother, Severo Armada, MD of Novi, Michigan; along with six children; Eric Armada of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robert and Jeanine Armada, DO of Alta Loma, California, Cris and Carol Armada, DO of Chino Hills, California, Tony and Racelle Armada of Tower Lakes, Illinois, Tess Scott of Alta Loma, California and Christine and Gene Thompson of Fontana, CA. ; 13 grandchildren, Jeffry Armada, Jennifer Armada, Erin Dutton, Derek Armada, Nicholas Armada, Malorie Armada, Alexandra Armada, Alyssa Armada, Brandon Scott, Katelyn Scott, Amanda Johnson, Nicole Thompson, and Lauren Thompson ; 2 great-grandchildren; Kaili Armada, Damien Johnson, and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from the Memorial Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries on 21300 East Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina, CA. Friends may visit with the family during the viewing on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation, 999 San Bernardino Road, Upland, CA. 91786.
