Concepcion "Conching" Putungan, 92, born on December 08, 1931, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023. She resided in Baldwin Park, CA at the time of her passing. Born in San Pablo, Laguna, she has lived in the Philippines for 59 years prior to moving to New Jersey in 1990. Concepcion then moved to Los Angeles in 2000 where she resided for 10 years before moving back to the Philippines.
Concepcion enjoyed many activities such as going to church, ballroom dancing, playing bingo, shopping at the mall, watching television, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Concepcion was predeceased by her husband, Sofronio Putungan, her daughter, Mila P. Zabala, her son, Alvaro Putungan, and her grandson Jenrick Daquil.
She is survived by her daughters, Edna, Thelma, Daisy, Anelin, Genalin and Alison, her son, Neil, her 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren
Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
