Cleo Felske

Cleova Marie Felske
Born in Holly, CO to Joseph and Pauline Dinkel on November 23, 1933 and entered into Eternal Rest on March 26, 2024 at the age of 90 in Bermuda Dunes, CA.  She was raised in Fort Collins, CO the 3rd oldest of 13 Children, Wilbert Dinkel, Wilma Casteloes, Vernon Dinkel, Thomas Dinkel, Lillian Beauprez, Vyola Thompson, Mary Jean Grzywa, Joseph Dinkel, Steve Dinkel, Merrill Dinkel, Joyce Connell, and Dwayne Dinkel until she moved to California in 1956 with their oldest daughter Sandra.
Cleova Dinkel married Arthur W. Felske on November 12, 1952 in Fort Collins, CO and Divorced in December of 1973.  Together they had four daughters Sandra Ann Felske of Bermuda Dunes, CA, Sharon Kay Phillips (Jack) of Morongo Valley, CA, Cheryl Lee Felske of Henderson, NV, and Arlene Lyn Castro (Arnold) of Indio, CA. In addition to leaving behind her four daughters she leaves her five Grandsons Anthony Phillips (Chenoa), Michael Phillips, (Sharon’s sons) and Arnold Jeremy Castro, Andrew Justin Castro, and Austin Jake Castro (Arlene’s sons).
Cleo as she preferred to be called worked several jobs to support her 4 daughters as a single mother.  She worked in accounting for over 55 years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, La Quinta County Club, Windsors Auto Parts, Desert Isles, Inc., and with Ralph’s Sewing and Vacuum Shop being her last job when she retired in 2015.
Cleo is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Dinkel, Pauline Dinkel, Henry Rotenburg (Step-Father), Sister-Wilma Casteloes, Brothers-Wilbert Dinkel, Vernon Dinkel, Thomas Dinkel, Joseph Dinkel, and Dwayne Dinkel.
She loved her roses, embroidering, sewing, reading, feeding the Hummingbirds, going to Church on Sunday and then going to Sloans for Breakfast. She especially loved her family and she loved dog sitting Pixie.
She will be Greatly Missed by all.
Services are on April 19, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church located at 43775 Deep Canyon in Palm Desert, CA.
