Claire Blynn

a former longtime Haverhill resident , died December 4, 2012 in Austin, Texas, where she has been a resident since 2009.
Born and raised in Haverhill, daughter of the late Emile and Zenobia (Jette) Denoncour, she attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1943.
A graduate of MacIntosh Business School, Mrs. Blynn was employed as a legal secretary by the law firm of MacGregor and MacGregor until 1958 when she remained at home to raise her family. She later was employed from 1971 until 1978 at MacGregor, Waldron and Nagle and finally by Atttorney Frederick L. Nagle, Jr. from 1979 until she retired in 1988.
An accomplished pianist and an avid reader, Mrs. Blynn enjoyed being a homemaker for her children and her late husband, C.H. Leonard Blynn, who predeceased her in 2005 after fifty-nine years of marriage.
Survivors include her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Beth (Blynn) and Mark Taylor of Seabrook, NH, and her loving son and daughter-in-law, Larry J. and Jodi Blynn of Austin, with whom she recently made her home, her cherished grandchildren, Cameron Blynn, Weston Blynn, Kaleigh Baker and Devan Baker, her only surviving brother, Victor Denoncour of New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call, Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
