Cirila C. Sampilo, 87, born on July 5, 1928, in San Antonio, Batangas, Philippines, went home to Our Lord January 15, 2016. She resided in Gardena, California for 49 years and at the time of her passing. "Celing" Sampilo is the youngest of 8 children & daughter of Lucas Caringal & Vicenta de los Reyes also from the Philippines. Her husband Esteban Sampilo preceded her in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Helen Spencer, and three sons Steve Jr, Exequiel and Edwin. She is also survived by nine (9) grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren all reside in Philippines,South Cali, Washington and AZ. Celing is a homemaker, loves to sew, garden and cook for the family and take care of her grandchildren. She loves watching basketball and casino playing. She will be greatly missed by her family and extended family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
