Cindi Jo Staats

Cindi Staats passed suddenly into the hands of God on 23rd of September 2019 at her home in Walnut California. She passed away peacefully leaving loving friends and family after a short and sudden illness. Cindi was born in Akron Ohio on January 30th, 1957, and went to Southeast High School and then attended Columbus State College to pursue an education in veterinary medicine since she had a love and passion for animals from a young age. Soon after graduation from college in 1978 she moved West to California and settled in Walnut where she lived for most of her strong, happy, and forthright life. She was known by all her friends, neighbors, and family as a very independent minded and strong willed woman, who could be relied upon by any person or any animal in need. She knew how to love and be loved by all that grew to know her. She left behind many wonderful neighbors, long-time close friends, her living sisters Vicki Phipps of Ohio and Kathi Zysk of Reno, and her pet the beagle Cooper. She was never married, but lived a very happy fulfilling life as she loved her independence, privacy, close family, friends, relatives, and neighbors.
