Chun Hui Julie Gao

Chun Hui (Julie) Gao, 68, passed away on January 8, 2017. She was born in Tianjin, China in 1948, and was the seventh of eight children conceived by her beloved parents. She began practicing medicine when she was 17 years old and completed her Doctor of Medicine in Tianjin, China in 1977.

In 1979, she was married to Hongwen Cao, in which they had one daughter. Mrs. Gao worked at a medical clinic before successfully starting her own practice in the early 1990s.

Mrs. Gao and her family immigrated to the United States on December 24, 1996 and resided in Arcadia, California. She continued to practice Chinese medicine and acupuncture in the states until 2011. She resided El Monte, California at the time of her passing.

Ms. Gao is survived by her husband, Hongwen (Charles) Cao; her daughter Ling (Caroline) Cao; her son in law Don Kellar; and grandson Colton Kellar. She is also survived by her three brothers and their respective wives, her three sisters and their respective husbands, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is public and will be held on January 18th, 2017 at 2p.m. in Memory Chapel of Forest Lawn Covina Hills, California.
