Christine Armas

Mrs. Christine June (Fernandez) Armas, born on June 20, 1932 in Fullerton, California, passed away peacefully at age 86 on September 16, 2018 in Laguna Niguel, California from natural causes.

Cherished wife, mother and grandmother, Christine is survived by her husband of 72 years, Abel Armas as well as her daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Van Rensselaer; son, Abel (Charlotte) Armas II; daughter, Camille Armas; grandchildren, Lara Lei (Bryce) Bailey, Dana Van Rensselaer, Cristal (Shaun) Remus, Megan Van Rensselaer, Shane Armas and Alexandra Armas; great-grandchildren, Brystan Bailey, Braeden Bailey, Tannis Bailey, Tatum Bailey, Skye Armas, and Kyra Remus; sister, Connie (Max) Toft; brother, Joe (Patricia) Fernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Armas and Richard Armas; and brother, Angel (Mildred) Fernandez.

Friends and family members may attend the funeral service, officiated by Monsignor John, on Thursday, September 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, California, 91724
