Chris Schaal
A life of love Beginning September 12th 1937
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Transitioning on April 30th, 2017
He resided in Placentia, California at the time of his passing.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.

Blessed with his wonderful wife, Linda, on October 30, 1959, Chris treasured her as his love, partner, wisdom provider and best friend. The life they built together is strong and beautiful.

A dedicated and loving father to Christian (Gina), Randy (Shannon), Debbie, Lisa (Mike), four children who he guided, provided for and loved – each of whom regard Dad as the greatest man in the known universe, and love him with all their being.

As a grandfather to thirteen and great-grandfather four, Papa adored, with his full heart, each and everyone of his grandchildren from the moment of their conception. Papa, dedicated much of his life to his grandchildren, guiding them, teaching them and most of all, loving them fully from the deepest place in his heart.

Chris was a friend to all, generous with each of his resources, kindness and care. All who know him, love him.

Chris Schaal owns no middle name, but if one were given, that name would be Character. Character both in stature and absolute youthful fun and frolic. He simply loved to play and laugh.

Chris's life lived was framed and lived out with many superior qualities. Listed are just a few.
Integrity – Honesty – Loyalty – Responsibility – Humility – Compassion – Fairness.
Chris truly lived these as much as, or more than, any other.
Chris Schaal was a great man.

Chris built an empire in both business and love.

Chris has always been the solid foundation of his large and spread out family. Losing him leaves a deep void in our lives here on earth. Even though life will be sad and difficult at times, as he always said, "We are the Schaals, we can do anything". And, we will - we will make him proud.

At the request of his wife, Linda and his children, if you wish to honor Chris, please donate in his name to the Orange County SPCA at the following link http://orangecountyspca.org/tribute/memory-chris-schaal/

Celebration of life after service, 4:30 pm, at Diamond Bar Golf Course, 22751 Golden Springs Dr., Diamond bar.
