Chim Heung Lay, born on November 18, 1935, in Guangzhou, China, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in San Jose. She was a devoted housewife.
Chim is survived by her beloved children, Albert, Isabel, and Elsa. She took immense joy in her role as grandmother to her grandchildren: Stephanie, Eric, Kyle, Keely, Caitlin, Haley, and Michelle. Her descendants will forever cherish the memories of her warmth, wisdom, and the deep bonds they shared.
Chim was preceded in death by her husband, Moc Chu Lay.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation scheduled for August 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Glendale located at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205. The funeral service will take place the following day, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Glendale - Wee Kirk o' the Heather, also located at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205.
