Chih Jen Chen (baptismal name Rose) returned to the arms of God on October 6 2018 at the age of 77 years. She was born on June 26, 1941 in Cheng Chiang, Jiangsu, China. She resided in Monterey Park, California at the time of her passing. She was a magnificent mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and a devoted Catholic. She was also a celebrated actor in Taiwan. She will be eternally remembered by her husband, Chih Jong Wang, children Chia Hsiang Wang, Yu Hsiang Wang, Jya Huei Wang and grandchildren Michelle Wang and Emily Wang. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday October 19 at 7:00 pm and a Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 20 at 10 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Monterey Park, California, followed by a Catholic burial where she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
