Charlotte Mashbitz

Charlotte Zabludoff Margulies Mashbitz, 83, born April 18, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away March 22, 2013. She resided in Palm Desert, CA at the time of her passing. Charlotte was a devoted wife to Irving Margulies (deceased) and Robert Mashbitz (deceased) and loving mother to Michael Margulies (Palm Desert, CA), Margery Margulies (Guerneville, CA), Lauren Watt (Citrus Heights, CA) and stepmother to Richard Mashbitz (Woolwich, NJ). Charlotte spent her career as the Chief Dietitian at JFK Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was a gourmet cook and made the best cheesecake in the world. Charlotte and Robert moved from Cherry Hill to Palm Desert in the late 1990s, where they made their home at Park Palms. Charlotte was extremely active in event planning and special projects for Park Palms, and was friends with everyone there. She will be truly missed by family, friends and everyone whose life she touched. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
