Charlotte Lou Driskill

Charlotte Lou (Munn) Driskill went home to be with our Lord on June 27, 2018. She was a long-time active resident of Long Beach, CA.
Charlotte attended nursing school at California Lutheran Hospital and worked many years as an RN at Los Alamitos Medical Center. In addition to working full time, and raising four daughters, she served in multiple community volunteer roles including PTA, Artesia High School band boosters, Camp Fire Girls and as a surrogate grandparent & Auxiliary President at Miller's Children's Hospital.
She was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamitos and served her faith through choir, handbell choir, WELCA, LSS, paper rollers & the annual harvest bazaar.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G Driskill, her parents Lorayn E (Short) Munn and Courtland J Munn and her brother, William L Munn.
She leaves behind her daughters Janet L Frizzle (husband Robert) of Corn, OK, Carol D Petrich (husband Theodore) of Hemet, CA, Susan L Driskill of Chicago, IL and Lisa F Walth (husband Dwight) of Gilbert, AZ, six grandchildren & eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Robert J Munn, Catherine D (Munn) James & a multitude of friends.
A service of thanksgiving for her life will be held July 9, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3352 Katella Av Los Alamitos, CA. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. Private interment will be July 9, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery Cypress, CA.
Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
