Newton, NH: Charles P. Nolin, 65, of Newton, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Kindred Hospital of the Northshore-Boston, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of the late Alton E. Nolin and the late Alice (Lefebvre) Nolin, he was raised and educated in Haverhill, graduating from the former Haverhill Trade School in 1965. He was employed at Raytheon Co. for thirty-seven years and ended his long career as a technical support engineer.

A resident of Newton since 1973, he was a former longtime member of the County Pond Fish and Game Club, where he had served as a member of the Board of Directors. He was also a former member of the Newton Recreation Commission and had served as a part-time police officer for the town. He enjoyed camping, fly-fishing, hunting and was also an avid New York Giants Fan.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Bonnie J. (Taylor) Nolin, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristine M. and James Rodden of Georgetown, MA, and Lynette R. and Brian Beaudry of Hampton, NH, a brother Steven D. Nolin of Chesterville, Maine, four grandchildren, Patrick Rodden, Alyssa Rodden, Hannah Beaudry and Jacob Beaudry, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Ernest A. Nolin.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow. His funeral service will take place on Monday at 12 o'clock Noon at the funeral home with interment to follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, Newton.
