Plaistow, NH: Charles P. "Buddy" Menza, 74, a resident of Plaistow for forty years, died on May 12, 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born, raised, and educated in Everett, MA, son of the late William and Louise (Norton) Menza, he graduated from Everett High School and went on to attend East Coast Aerotech. Mr. Menza served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1964 and was a recipient of the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Mr. Menza was employed as a Licensed Airplane Mechanic first for Eastern Airline and later for U.S. Airways, from where he retired.

A member of Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Mr. Menza enjoyed reading and following politics, both national and local. He most enjoyed spending time at his home and with his family.

He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Julita (Hernandez) Menza, three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer A. and Richard Femino of Plaistow, Sarah A. and Brian Child of Chelmsford, MA, and Andrea M. and Cary Nix of Derry, a twin brother, William P. Menza of Florida, a brother, James Menza of Pepperell, MA, two sisters, Sister Joan Naomi Menza of Roxbury, MA, and Pamela Veysey of Pepperell, MA, four grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Louise Henderson, and his brother, Nicholas Menza.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Menza's Life Celebration on Sunday, May 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow.
