Sandown: Charles C. "Charlie" Eaton Jr., 62, a resident of Sandown since 1989, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Elliott Hospital in Manchester.

Born, raised and educated in Stoneham, MA, son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Delano) Eaton, he graduated from Stoneham High School.

A self-employed carpenter, Charlie operated Charlie's Custom Carpentry, locally for many years and had also been employed by R.E.P. Landscaping and as a project manager for Bob Villella's Custom Homes.

An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing cribbage and other board games and watching movies, especially Westerns and Action movies.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Waldie) (Bloomfield) Eaton, a son and daughter-in-law Kristopher M. and Brittany Eaton of Manchester, two step-daughters, Lauren E. Maloof and her husband John of Derry and Kimberley Bloomfield and her husband Daren Repishti of New York City, a brother Mark Eaton of Stoneham, four sisters, Dorothy Lane of Stoneham, Patricia Villella of Hampstead, Charlene Marinelli of Melrose, MA and Nancy Bertrand of Gloucester, MA, also eleven grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Gregory Eaton, in 2013.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration to be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH. A service of remembrance will follow at 7:15. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to New Hampshire Fish and Game Dept., c/o Business Office, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03301 www.wildlife.state.NH.US or to the Jimmy Fund, c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.Box 849168., Boston,MA.
