Charles Louis Carl

Charles Louis Carl, 75, passed away on Feb. 3, 2015, in North Las Vegas, NV. He was born January 16, 1940, in Staten Island, New York, to his parents, Charles Elmer Carl and Caroline Elvira Carl. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and then worked for over 30 years as a conductor for the railroad, until retiring in 1988. A man of many talents and interests, Charles loved to build things with his hands, specifically with woodworking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking cruises around the world. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Carl; and son Charles Jacob Carl. He is survived by his wife Karen Carl; sister Celia Pope; son Craig Carl and daughter-in law Jennifer Carl; stepson Michael Goss; stepdaughter's Julie Goss and Lori King; grandson's Eric Castaneda ,Shawn Enns, Steven Enns, Timothy Beardsley, Christopher King II, Jonathon Alexander and Paul Alexander II. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California on Febuary 14, 2015.
