Chuck was born April 22, 1923 in St. Joseph MO. He joined the Army Air Corps after graduation and served overseas during WWII supporting the Atomic Energy Commission.
In 50's and 60's, Chuck owned and operated several nightclubs in Los Angeles, the Prelude on Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood and the Hobbit. He often hired well-known entertainers to perform such as B.B. King, The Drifters, and The Platters.
Chuck was an avid racing boat owner who raced world-class racing boats all over the United States and held K-class speed records with his Hobbit K-14. Chuck loved the boat racing community and all the friends he made over the years.
Services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Covina, CA on Sep 20 at 11 AM.
A celebration of life will be held following the services.
