Taiwan

Tom Chang-Cin Jung was born on May 24, 1948, in Taipei, Taiwan. Sadly, he departed this world on May 19, 2024. He is a cherished brother, father, grandfather and friend.

Tom was a devoted father to his three children, Alice, Tony and Timothy. His love knew no bounds as he always ensured his children had everything they needed and more. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and his presence brought joy and comfort to those around him.

Immigrating to the United States in 1983 with two young children, Tom embarked on a journey of opportunity and promise. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained steadfast in his commitment to provide a better life for his family. His resilience and determination served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

In addition to his role as a loving father, Tom delighted in his role as a grandfather to Daniel, Dylan and Kaitlyn. He treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, imparting wisdom and creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come.

Outside of his family, Tom enjoyed various hobbies. It was not unusual to find him attending coin conventions and his personal collection includes coins from all over the world. He loved reading newspapers and always stayed up-to-date on the latest world events. When relaxing at home, he enjoyed watching action films and documentaries. Yet, above all, Tom's greatest joy was found in the company of his loved ones, both family and friends, whom he held dear above all else.

Tom Chang-Cin Jung will be remembered fondly for his welcoming smile, charismatic personality, generosity, and unwavering love for his loved ones. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.

In loving memory, we bid farewell to a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend. You will be deeply missed, but your love and legacy will endure forever in our hearts.
