Cesar Reyes Mendoza

Cesar Reyes Mendoza, born on October 21, 1949, in Manila, Philippines, passed away October 21, 2013, the date of his birth date. He was exactly 64 years old. He resided in Chino Hills, California at the time of his passing, as a result of a 20-month battle with prostate cancer. He was born to Francisco and Virginia Reyes, a dentist and a teacher. Cesar graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of the East in Manila. He was currently retired, having worked at the University of California Los Angeles for 25 years.

Cesar is survived by his wife, Cathy, his children Janice Salgado and Joyce Penh, sons in law John Salgado and Michael Penh, grandchildren Kristen and Jayden Salgado and Liam Penh, his brothers Eugene and Romy Mendoza, and his sister Corazon Valencia.

Vigil will be held at the Memory Chapel Forest Lawn Covina Hills from 5 PM to 9 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2013. A mass will be held at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Chino Hills, California. Burial will follow at the Serenity Ground, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina, California. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider offering a mass for the repose of his soul.
